A National Convention

A National Convention on Climate Resilient Tribal Development: Blending Indigenous Knowledge with Appropriate Technology and Empowering Women on the occasion of The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Tribal People and celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was organised from 9 – 11 August 2022 at IBRAD Campus, Kolkata in collaboration with the Anthropological Survey of Indian and in association with SCSTRTI, Odisha. More than 120 participants from Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Maharastra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal participated in the convention representing the tribal communities, government functionaries, students, researchers, NGOs and development practitioners.
